New Dermatologists Office Opening for Residents in Westchester County

Here at The Westchester Center for Dermatology, we are pleased to announce that we have a new office in Scarsdale. Our patients in Westchester County can now skip the long commute to access our professional skin care services. When dealing with cosmetic concerns, we treat everything from skin cancer to acne.

We have a staff of board-certified dermatologists and are equipped with the latest cutting-edge technology for all of our Westchester County patients. Our goal is to provide patients the same level of care they would receive at The Westchester Center for Dermatology. Dr. David Kriegel founded the Westchester Center for Dermatology and serves as its director. He is a leading surgeon and dermatologist when it comes to Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer. In addition, he also performs cosmetic and laser surgery on patients across the United States, South America, Canada and Europe. New York Magazine featured Dr. Kriegel in their “Best Doctors” issue for eight years in a row. Besides that, he was also named a “Super Doctor” by the New York Times.

In addition to his work at The Westchester Center for Dermatology, Dr. Kriegel has been the Director of the Division of Dermatologic, Skin Cancer and Mohs Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City for the past 15 years. His specialty is the treatment of skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. He is an Associate Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is the Fellowship Director of its Mohs and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. This fellowship program is a highly competitive ACGME accredited program and is one of 35 programs in the country to train Mohs Surgeons. Dr. Kriegel is the author of numerous academic articles and is also involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.

Our dermatologists are well trained to treat a myriad of skin conditions. Besides treating minor skin rashes, they also treat chronic diseases such as eczema, rosacea and psoriasis. Other conditions that we treat include acne, warts, herpes and skin cancer. Some of our medical professionals specialize in treating cosmetic issues.
