New Dermatologists Office Opening for Nearby Residents in Hastings-On-Hudson

The Westchester Center for Dermatology in New York is expanding. As a result, we are excited to announce that we have a new location opening near Hastings-on-Hudson in Scarsdale. Patients can now access our professional skin care services without travelling to the city. It is a more convenient option than taking a long road trip.

Our Scarsdale branch is similar to the Manhattan office; both branches use cutting-edge equipment and only hire board-certified dermatologists. When opening our newest office, we tried to make the atmosphere professional and aesthetically pleasing. Patients will receive the same level of care at this branch as they do at the main office.

Dr. David Kriegel, a leading cosmetic and laser surgeon, is the founder and director of Westchester Center for Dermatology. He also serves as director at the Mount Sinai Hospital for the Divison of Dermatologic, Skin Cancer and Mohs Surgery. For the Mount Sinai School of Medicine he serves as an Associate Professor and as the Fellowship Director for the Mohs and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. It’s one of 35 programs in the country to train Mohs Surgeons. His specialty is the treatment of skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma.

Besides being a leading surgeon for Mohs micrographic surgery, he also has experience with other types of cosmetic and laser procedures. Dr. Kriegel cares for patients all around the world; in fact, he has patients in the United States, Canada, Europe and South America who call him their dermatologist. According to the New York Times, Dr. Kriegel is a “Super Doctor.” He was even featured in the “Best Doctors” section of New York Magazine for eight years in a row.

Our dermatologists are well trained to treat a myriad of skin conditions. They can treat everything from minor skin rashes to chronic skin diseases. A few of the most common chronic skin diseases include psoriasis, eczema and rosacea. Our dermatologists can also perform Botox injections, Juvederm, Restylane wrinkle injection treatments, Photodynamic Therapy for acne and stretch marks, Fraxel laser for resurfacing and scars, and tightening procedures. Hastings-on-Hudson residents can even come in for acne, warts, scars, herpes and skin cancer treatment.
