New Dermatologists Office Opening for Nearby Residents in Bedford Hills

At The Westchester Center for Dermatology, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest office in nearby Scarsdale for residents in Bedford Hills. Those who live in Bedford Hills and surrounding communities will now have an easier time accessing our professional skin care services. A few of the conditions that we treat include skin cancer, acne and other cosmetic-related issues.

The Scarsdale branch will be operated just like The Westchester Center for Dermatology. Since our new office uses cutting-edge equipment and hires board-certified dermatologists, patients can rest assured knowing they are in good hands. Our goal is to make our office of the highest professional caliber in a sophisticated aesthetic environment.

Our director, Dr. David Kriegel, is the one who established The Westchester Center for Dermatology. Dr Kriegel has also been serving as the Director of the Division of Dermatologic, Skin Cancer and Mohs Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City for the past 15 years. His specialty is the treatment of skin cancers like basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. He is an Associate Professor and Fellowship Director for Mount Sinai School of Medicine’s Mohs and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. This fellowship program is one of 35 in the country to train Mohs Surgeons. Dr. Kriegel also has contributed numerous academic articles and is involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.

He is one of the world’s leading surgeons when it comes to cosmetic, laser and Mohs micrographic surgery. He treats patients all across the world; in fact, he has patients in Canada, Europe and South America. New York Magazine has a “Best Doctors” issue, and Dr. Kriegel was featured in it for eight consecutive years. Along with that, the New York Times called him a “Super Doctor” in one of their latest issues.

Our dermatologists are well trained to treat a myriad of skin conditions. They can treat everything from minor skin rashes to chronic conditions. Some of the conditions that our staff treats include acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, warts, scars, herpes and skin cancer. We also have dermatologists who provide Botox injections, Juvederm, Restylane wrinkle injection treatments, Photodynamic Therapy for acne and stretch marks, Fraxel laser for resurfacing and scars, and tightening procedures.
