Botox: What You Can Expect With Your Treatment

Botox results are achieved nearly immediately and last for varied durations, typically three to six months. When Botox is used on a regular basis, the results have been shown to last longer.
Available Botox treatment options in NYC
Botox is administered here at the Manhattan Dermatology & Laser Center office. The procedure lasts a brief 10 to 15 minutes with minimal pain involved. When administering Botox, an injection is made with a very small gauge needle into the skin and muscles. There may be, at most, mild discomfort when the doctor administers the injections and some slight bruising may appear in the few days after the treatment. This can be easily covered with makeup, and makes it possible to return to work immediately after your treatment.
What you should do before your Botox treatment
When planning to use Botox, it is advisable to speak with a qualified physician like the many Board Certified Dermatologists here at Manhattan Dermatology & Laser Center. Our medical director, David Kriegel, has been successfully administering Botox since 1993 and is included in Castle Connolly’s America’s Cosmetic Doctors and Dentists, so you know you’re in good hands.
